Privacy Policy

In short

bulcax is a platform that compares products and their prices and sends you to the website of the seller you choose; it does not sell products and does not take payment details. We process the minimum data needed to provide the service, we do not sell your data and we do not build profiles for advertising.

The data controller is the person who operates the bulcax platform at www.bulcax.com. The data controller's name or trade name and address will be published in this section; until then, you can send all your applications and questions to iletisim@bulcax.com.

What information we collect

You can look at, search and compare products without an account; we do not ask for your name or email address for that.

• If you register: your email address, an encrypted form of your password and, if you wish, your display name.
• If you write a review: your rating, your review and your name, shown shortened on the review.
• If you add favourites: the products in your favourites.
• If you report a problem: the reason you choose and the note you write.
• If you use the decision chat: the questions you write and the answers given.
• For security: a digest (hash) of your IP address, for at most 1 day; the raw IP address is not kept.

Sending you to seller websites

When you press "See current price", "Go to the best price" or "Go to the seller's page", the seller's website opens in a new tab. That this referral happened is recorded; your name or email address is not passed to the seller. Some links are affiliate links, and the seller or the affiliate network may use its own cookies to attribute the purchase to bulcax. What you do and share on the seller's website is subject to that website's privacy policy.

How we use information

We use your information to manage your account, keep you signed in, send verification and password reset emails, publish and moderate reviews, keep the platform secure and count referrals. We do not send you marketing emails; if that changes, we will ask for your consent first, as Law No. 6563 requires.

Who we share it with

We share it only with the infrastructure providers that help us provide the service (hosting, database, email delivery, image storage and, if you use it, the artificial intelligence service for the decision chat), and only as much as needed. The list of providers and the basis for transfers abroad are in the Personal Data Protection Notice. Where required by law, we may give information to the competent authorities.

Retention and security

Account and content data is stored on servers in the European Union; the providers used for email delivery and the decision chat are named in the Personal Data Protection Notice. Connections are encrypted (HTTPS), passwords are stored irreversibly, access to the admin panel is limited by authorization and admin actions are recorded. Retention periods are in section 7 of the Personal Data Protection Notice.

Children

Membership of bulcax is for people aged 18 or over. If we know that a person is under 18, we close their account and delete their data.

Your rights and contact

To use your rights under KVKK Article 11 (requesting information, correction, erasure, objection and others) or to ask a question about this policy, you can write to iletisim@bulcax.com. We answer your application within 30 days at the latest.

Changes

We update this policy when the platform or the legislation changes. When there is a significant change, we announce it on the site. The date at the top of the page is the date of the last update.
